With Code Geass being reviewed soon, do you think Chuck will like it?

Hey its been a while since I posted here. But I got a inkling to post a topic about this and see peoples responses.

So on Sfdebris's twitter feed he mentioned that he was reviewing Code Geass this summer.

Honestly I am excited for this as Code Geass is in my top 10 favorite animes and I have gotten into rewatching now that I got my hands on the blu rays and a good friend of mine watched the series and I got to hear his reactions.

The thing is, when Chuck reviews it, do you think he will like it?

He has been pretty open minded with anime considering his lack of background with the medium and Code Geass does have a lot going for it, with great fights, interesting philosophy and a great dub (which he will probably use).

But Code Geass is one of the cheesiest / over the top shows /stuid ever. I mean TV tropes has a page dedicated to all the insame moments. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Narm/CodeGeass

I mean mention the word table to any Code Geass fan and they will just sigh.

What's your guys thoughts do you think he will enjoy the show?

Its hard to make fun of Code Geass because it makes fun of itself.

It's a dramatically serious story about apartheid, colonialism, war, and PIZZA!

I just wanted to mention that with the shuffle I had to push CG and Mahoro out into the fall. Stupid mortality.

Completely understandable, if they have to be delayed for your health that's more important.

Has your health improved since you mentioned it last?

It's too bad the series ended on a cliffhanger, like so many others that deserved a sequel or continuation.
