Though both accusations are ridiculous, based on actual evidence on hand. But hey, we're in an age of post-truth. Say whatever you want - nobody needs facts any more. For a while this was mostly a Republican thing, but now it seems the Democrats are on board too.

I do know when some of the worst crimes against women and girls in history surfaces, on par with and in some cases surpassing the Nazis and their barbarism, and the offending nation can dismiss it as "propaganda" and justify that as a reason to not teach it in their museums and history so that the families of those monsters can look back and reexamine their ancestors, even though everyone was there and saw it happening, then yeah. There is no truth anymore. There never was. Reality itself is a brief illusion. That's all that life really is. I look forward to shedding off this mortal coil and returning to oblivion. This is a non sequitur.

No, it's not.

It's pointing out that, despite the rape accusations, this guy is still a new member of the highest court on the land, whereas the idea that women falsely accuse men of rape for attention or money or political gain is sharply contrasted with the chamber of horrors that awaits any woman who dares point a finger at somebody she says violated her.

That she receives death threats does not mean that men falsely accused of rape suffer any less. Therefore, this is a non sequitur.
It's like saying that if someone burns to death, then I haven't really stubbed my toe.

What Kavanaugh is accused of is that he went into a room, drunk as hell, tried to assault a woman then left. Later, he exposed himself to a different woman. Also, that when this whole thing came out, he lied a huge number of times and evaded things.

These are very hardcore religious conservatives. They were born in the wrong century and frankly still have outdated ideas like how masturbation makes you go blind. When it comes to sex, it really seems like they wanna make their creepy sexual kinks and fetishes into reality (like celebrating forced birth, I think it gets them off). Refer to comments like Todd Akin saying in a "legitimate rape" the female body can shut down pregnancy or Richard Mourdock saying God sends a rapist to a woman to get her pregnant. They're incels and Red Pillers and frankly, I could buy him doing that. He also, I hear, delayed an immigrant woman's abortion that was legally granted in an attempt to let the deadline expire so she'd be forced to carry to term. That's his character. It's someone who has no respect for women, doesn't understand women expect as something here to serve man, and is now a Supreme Court Justice.
