On one hand, this is an uplifting and heart-warming show of interfaith solidarity among oppressed groups.
On the other hand, the subtitle "Crowdfunding has become a go-to effort for relief following hate crimes and mass shootings in the US" depresses the ever-living shit out of me.

Well, good. We need all the help we can get following such violence, though at this point I'm pretty numb to it. Feeling as if we're just putting bandaids on big gaping gashes spilling blood. It's not enough to bandage the wound. An apt metaphor, since we're bleeding as a nation, and if we can't stop the bleeding completely, we're going to die.
