Shots fired at Republican Headquarters.

At least four shots were fired at the Volusia Republican headquarters, shattering a window and damaging two more, according to the South Daytona Police Department.

Authorities said no one was injured in the shooting, which happened sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.

Not ALL liberals believe in disarmament.

This is the heart of it, I think. No matter who you are, you're being told there are enemies around every corner and it's just moments away from everything you know and love being ended. Some of it's true. Much of it is not.

But none of that matters. All that matters is the fear.

When someone is afraid, they'll buy whatever you're selling to protect them, and the price no longer matters.

If it turns out you betrayed them, it will only reinforce that fear and escalate it even higher.

It's that perception that's hurting us and wounding us as a nation. And it's why depression is on the rise.

My response, petty version:
How do you KNOW it was a liberal? After all, the synagogue shooter made anti-trump comments! Or maybe it's just a false flag operation, done with Republican crisis actors to rile up the base!

My non-petty response: Isn't this kind of a separate thread in and of itself? Seeing as the title is "bombing democrats", and the link you posted is about the shooting of Republicans?

I think it's relevant since it's a sign of the times with so much rising violence, social unrest, and people giving in to hate and fear.

Frankly, I was thinking that given the way things are trending, we're going to need a generalized 'political violence' thread, and this one seemed the most appropriate.

Ah, Fuzzy's special that way. Trust me, I know Democrats who think the GOP has gone full-blown Nazi Party at their height to the point they sincerely would believe this is a frame-up. Then again, could just be a random vandal, aside from someone politically motivated. A juvenile prankster. Who knows? For the bomber, I'd suspected it was a Sanders voter or Trumper voter. Just someone with a serious hatred for Democrats. It had to be either those because of how selective it was. And lo and behold, we were right.

Or a general gun/bomb violence thread? Trust me, this bombing won't be the last. Firebombing mosques is a thing the hard right fringe loves to do too...
