Everyone named Darth Wedgius is always right. This may seem overly narrow, but a poll of everyone named Darth Wedgius showed surprisingly strong enthusiasm, and you can't argue with democracy.
Other than that glaringly obvious omission, I think we're doing pretty well. You'll always have people with strong feelings and biases, some of who will reject reality to substitute their own, or at least be obsessed with straw men. But I think it would overtax administrators to police something like that.

Fixed that for ya.
But seriously, I'm confused as the point of the question. We have a solid set of rules, mods that seem to be doing a fine job...why would we change any of it?

I had thread closed because somebody assumed bad motivation or whatever, later someone wrote an op ed with the same theme in Current Affairs and the topic on that was not closed.
Short term mods, no one is a mod for more than 6 months.
Mods have to use professional clinical language when doing their job.
Those with a pro capitalist and pro socialist bias get their own megathread so more topics get discussed instead of just the usual left and right mud slinging. More rigt vs right and left vs left debate action.
There should every once in a while threads when one user can go one on three in a debate and only four people could be allowed to post in that thread. The last point needs some more refining in my part. It would be practical to have some of those sometimes so less people gain status by dogpiling.

I uh....I think you're putting the cart before the horse here. Actually, you might be putting up an entire LINE of carts before we have a pony...or even a sled dog.
But I personally HATE the idea of short term mods. Modding is difficult job, and like most difficult jobs, it requires the right people and practice generally helps. You find a good mod, you hold onto to them for dear life. They are HARD to replace.

I am not sure i ever saw that magical creature. I would need to do some digging on mods who were decent to me.LittleRaven wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 3:59 pm I uh....I think you're putting the cart before the horse here. I have situation on another site where a dude was mod for 10 years , is an academic in China and he might be censoring what he says recently. The CCP literally has control over a mod.

A wise man might review this situation and attempt to identify a central point of failure.Slash Gallagher wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 6:10 pmI am not sure i ever saw that magical creature. I would need to do some digging on mods who were decent to me.

Uh...the CCP controls almost 2% of the total land mass on the planet and something like 18% of all humans on Earth. They have satellites, tanks, and missiles topped with nuclear weapons. And you're surprised they control a mod?!?

I personally would like if this forum did a little more to battle deforestation in South America.
