I feel something that's pertinent to bring up, or maybe emphasize more, between antiboyscout and clearspira, is that these marginal accounts can come off as insufficient information in terms of real progress. America is big and slight changes on a broad scale can account for drastic reductions. China as well being both the largest country on earth and a developing country is expected to have huge increases.

Then there's the matter of reductions and increases over a longer period of time rather than just from the previous year.

Some questionable Wikipedia numbers (because they're somewhat limited in what they count) puts China's emissions per capita up with, and beyond several, developed countries.

Trump seems like the kind of person that would give the middle finger to the accord over China, but that graph by itself isn't particularly substantial.

Honestly instead of trying to order the tide not to come in, we really ought to prepare our selves as much as possible for its inevitable arrival.
