So basically they are upset that some one made Farage look even more stupid and dared to laugh at him when they surely would do same to other side. They really like to expose themselves as hypocrites that they are don't they.

I think it's just a spite on progressives who come off as espousing ends-justifies-the-means behavior.

I doubt everyone objecting to the shake is rallying behind Farage, but wanting more to call out the progressives who are rallying behind the shake-throwing. It calls into question the values of people that identify/associate as liberals.

And people look absolutely ridiculous doing so when the means in question represent a mild inconvenience.

Some people would enjoy this happening to Bernie and it would be bad also.

You mixed up progressives and liberals?

If you walk into a new dog walking club / book club / college and some asshole does that to you it's a pretty definitive first impression.

So, funny thing, today I became part of this story.

I went out to protest for bodily autonomy near city hall and, low and behold, there was some guy in a maga hat waving a counter-protest sign that said "I Want My Milkshake". (The other side of the sign had a noose and the words Go Abort Yourself).

I gave some long thought about the possible consequences and even went as far as to visit the nearest McDonalds, but they don't serve milkshakes anymore, so the courage of my convictions remains untested.

If you wanna be an idiot, you can get that milkshake and get into an utterly stupid street fight.

No, I really can't get the milkshake, because as I said, the mcdonalds nearest the protest stopped selling them. Weren't you even reading/listening?

I must admit that I didn't expect to see day when milkshakes are no longer being sold in UK and British might have to buy those from internet. This is how twisted out world is that selling something harmless like milkshake is being banned just because some idiots think that throwing those is same as violence when it's not.
