Yeah... but those are rights that you can prove women did not have. I had this lovely non-right to sign up for my selected service when I turned 18 in case they needed to bring the draft back. I chose Navy, I doubt they would have cared.clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 7:02 amYeah... but those are rights that you can prove women did not have. Men also lack reproductive rights, tend to get screwed over in divorce settlements and child custody cases, and are more likely to be convicted of crimes, and if convicted are more likely to get longer sentences than women. Yay, patriarchy.

Men will never know the pain of forced birth or being left with a child against their will.

Re: Feminism and history
I'm sure there are plenty of men who were left with a child against their will. There are also plenty of men forced to pay for them, whether they wanted them or not, and in some cases even if it isn't his. There are also plenty of cases where men want their children but are lose custody and visitation rights over unproven claims, because family court is one of the most fucked up parts of our justice system.

They never had to give birth to it. EVER. So don't give me that crap.

Does that lessen their pain in any of what I described above?
BTW, you realize all you're doing is proving the point that women actually have it better than men when it comes to those things, right?

Re: Feminism and history
It's funny you mention this, because I was watching the news at around 11 (it might have been 10:30 or so), and one of the subjects was about a group of feminists who time traveled back in time but did not return at the scheduled time they were expected to come back. Was this just a joke by you? I thought it was, or were you being serious, aware of this news development?
..What mirror universe?

So based on Admiral X's weird logic that anyone who says things like "woman place is in kitchen" in jokingly are stuck in even farther past. Then again he is troll so what else I could expect from him.

Re: Feminism and history
I've seen Feminists blame women civilians for being guilty for crimes of the government. Seems we need a great reform just as much as ever.
