OK, the 10 year anniversary update is not as bad as I feared.

Jeri Ryan is great. Queen Seven is awesome. I could've done without Burnham or the STD crap but it was amusing to shoot Stamets after suffering through "Beneath the Skin".

That final battle in part 2 was awesome, even if it made not a lick of sense and I had to fight alongside Archer and Janeway. Picard and the Sisko more than made up for it even if it was all recycled dialogue.

The moral choice system and how it was implemented was impressive, and I genuinely enjoyed that they did it, even though Burnham made me roll my eyes in the Brea III scene and the dialogue was frequently, um, weak. Especially in the temporal war scene. (though, I did like that there was an option to say "screw Daniels" and put time back together after that time-slaving bastard's meddling)

Burnham...well, I hate Burnham, but Martin-Green's performance was acceptable. She was easily outdone by Ryan, though.

Abe Lincoln with an axe is the greatest thing ever.

I hated the Iconia scene but the BorgConian was fabulous.

The Control boss fight was incredibly boring, worst boss in the game except maybe Admiral Leeta from the Assault on Terok Nor queue.

Loved the fight with Queen 7. That was actually challenging and entertaining for all that it was a reskin of Into the Hive.

The Borg thing is something else.
Oh, okay, so the usual grind then. I know the Omega hunt well. Stupid minigame, but easy to check-in, do the task, and check-out. Get the ship.

Another question: is there a way to tell which ships in the Reclaim tab are ones you can actually reclaim before I Dismiss the ship? I'd like to free up my Active Ship slots, but I've been burned before hard by a ship that I earned through an event which is in the list not being reclaimable like it should (and support telling me to get lost, making sure they never got a dime from me). This has me unable to discharge any ships and the UI seems useless. They're greyed out if you have them active, and I see no indicator of which ones the system recognizes I've earned. Am I missing something?

I'm not sure. I've gotten them ALL, so it's hard to know the difference at this point.

As far as I know, all of the Event ships should be reclaimable, if you earned them. As should all Zen-Store ships. The ones you can't reclaim are Lock Box ships, Lobi Ships and Promo Ships.

However, I've never actually completely dismissed a ship before. I tend to buy a lot of Dry Dock slots. Not all at once, just a few each time they go on sale. So if I get a new ship, I can dry dock something to make room. Also, I play on Xbox, so things may not be exactly the same on PC.

On another note, we got the Mudd Store added to Xbox late last week, and with an 80% discount. I've been hording Zen waiting for this. Got the Command Assault Cruiser, one of the only ships we've never had on Xbox before. Mainly wanted the console off of it for my Borg Engineer Captain's Sovereign class. She flies the Intel version. I could switch her over to the new version, the ships are functionally identical, save for the Specialization seat, which I don't even use. I just have 3 Science skills equipped in that seat. But, anyway, my Sovereign class now has a Battle Cloak.

I think I have almost all of them, but the problem is that the only indicator is that they're greyed out. Greyed out appears to mean either (A) You have the ship actively checked out or (B) You cannot claim the ship.

Thanks, Cryptic!

As I said, I've been burned by it apparently not recognizing a ship I earned in that system (which I found reported elsewhere as a known issue they've never fixed). So, not willing to try blind on another unless I know the system has that ship tracked. Hilariously, I was ready to drop a fair bit of cash on the game that same weekend, and the aggressively unhelpful response from "customer support" towards my lost ship made sure that not only did this not happen but that it will never happen. I had logs and screenshots, but none of that mattered.

I wanted to say I have the new ship and it took me a while to understand why I like it.
It does not look that much like a federation or even romulan vessel. The saucer could be like the bulb section on many klingon vessels and is reminiscent of the D7. And that is what hit me. This is basically a modern D7 built in a federation shipyard. So instead of looking used even as it leaves the dock for the first time. It has that federation polish and refinement to it.

So it looks great.

On a Star Fleet science character it has functioned as a tank for me. Solid weaponry and defenses.
On a KDF science character it kinda blew up alot. . . But that character seems to always have ships detonate under their feet.
Have not tried with a Romulan yet.

But the integral cloaking device is a nice touch.

Did you just buy it outright then? It's too soon to have earned it, right?

In a word, yes.
I did the initial quest with my fed main and got onafence. Did it as a romulan and got the KDF aligned accolade. Then paid for the rest with my saved up zen from my lifer account.
