That is tragic. Of course we might here even more news like that. Including about GameStop clerks that kept working because they were afraid to lose they jobs.

Yeah. If anyone still doesn't know, gamestop is taking more or less zero sanitizing or protective measures, telling employees to not wear masks because they might scare customers, and generally should be avoided like the plague pit it is.

Good thing I've decided to go all-digital, at least with my Xbox games. You end up having 20-60GB installs over your modem even with discs, so what's the point? And you can get Xbox/Microsoft cards at the drugstore these days, so...

Not to mention that higher ups of GameStop saw pandemic as just another opportunity to earn more money since many other more responsible stores are closed. With words of Jim Sterling:"they would rather kill than die".

I am still big on physical media for my console games so I am lucky that we have other options in here were to get those than GameStop when it comes to video game stores.
