I wrapped up work (mostly) for the day, did a quick grocery store run and picked up a to-go order from a local, family-owned restaurant. Now I'm listening to Alton & Elizabeth & Scabigail Brown on YouTube on how to make a martini and fried rice while I teach myself React and TypeScript (in the midst of a rush of demand for COBOL programmers... :? )

I've been reading fanfic at night sometimes. Currently a cross-over between The Dresden Files and My Little Pony, because of course those go together.

Playing 8 board games while working. Work from home is just like work at work, with more distractions.

Taking care of my newborn who was just born on Friday night.
Science Fiction is a genre where anything can happen. Just make sure what happens is enjoyable for yourself and your audience.
