Superman - The Last Son of Krypton

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

The science around Kryptonians has always been weird. Like, they live like normal Humans on a planet made of kryptonite with a red sun, but they're living solar batteries, and if they move away from Krypton and soak up some yellow sun, then they become godlike (so yellow is better than red?), but... in spite of their new powers one pebble from their home planet can now literally kill them. How the heck does *that* work? Also, different colors of kryptonite do different things to Superman, and most of them are generally toxic.
I had always been under the impression the destruction of Krypton(whether by the core imploding or Rao going supernova) somehow altered the makeup of the pieces of Krypton, crating the different types of kryptonite. Kinda like in metallurgy, mixing different metals under certain conditions gives you alloys of different characteristics
Have you ever concider that Kyptonite js a rare element on their planet, plus the radiation from soace could have help.

Let's face it, looking at Krypton from 2020- whether it is the DCAU, MoS or whatever- they aren't THAT much more sophisticated than we are with only something like the Phantom Zone being truly "out there", and if the same thing happened to us there is no way in Hell that we'd ever make it off planet either.

Especially if, like us, Krypton seems light years away from even potentially habitable worlds. It's easy to point fingers at them when we, the audience, know that the DC universe is teeming with alien life, but it would be easier to forgive them if Krypton was, in the grand scheme of things, actually a rather primitive planet that is far from any major alien power, and it just being that we are even more primitive than they are but (in the DC universe) closer in range to other inhabited worlds.
That's pretty valid from my seat, but what of the politics that go into it?

I was kind of asking like, "even if they were technically advanced then the politics would still hold them back?"

But I see your point that we have no real reason to presume that they could just expand to another solar system.

Since the last two videos Chuck uploading were Youtube videos, I hope he reuploads the 3 part Superman premier on Youtube because it seems dailymotion which the other two videos are hosted by seems to be disconnected here in Egypt for some reason especially since part 1 is uploaded on Youtube. And as you can tell by my avatar, Superman related videos are one of my big interests.

Inexplicably, the other two parts cannot be put on YT. I spent hours trying to edit part 2 into a format that would work, and YT just kept spitting it out with "Blocked."
