VOY - Collective

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Do you happen to have a link? I can't find such a video.

I don't think a canon explanation was given, so as far as I know Captain Janeway just yeeted the baby onto the nearest planet and called it a day.

The bioweapon designed by the doctor needed to be tested.

Brannon Braga said that they gave it away to the species it belonged to between episodes.

Question: Whatever happened to the Borg baby?

Mary Wiecek - Columbus, Ohio - USA

Answer:The Borg baby was prepared in a delicious orange glaze sauce by Neelix. Just kidding. The baby was returned to its people, which you did not see depicted in an episode. We considered showing it onscreen, but decided it would be best to focus on the remaining Borg kids. They have given us some great story material so far.
The fact that fans had to ask shows a problem with his apathy about such things when writing the characters.

There’s a lot of practical considerations to having a baby on set that renders it impossible to do long term.

That being said the time to think of this is before you do it, not after.

The fact that even in jest anything produced by Neelix could be described as "delicious" says even more!

HaHaHa! thanks guys, yeah braga's apathy gets me too :( it would have been interesting to see how the Doctor treats a patient so young, especially if they do a "treating a small child with multiple disabilities plot".

You'd think Spock could get Voyager back pretty easy if he just used the spore drive.
