I guess IRL it would create a bigger target to have them ''out there'' instead of flattened. I'm thinking of Olympic Taekwondo where the women wear flat chest pieces.

And as for Anita, I think pretty much anything she has ever said that I agreed with is just copy and paste from people who actually know the subject. Although she was right about the abuse she got.
Alright. But I'll get you next time, Gadget. Next time.

A fantastic debut for Ahsoka in live action, and finally, a good live-action lightsaber fight scene produced by Disney and one opponent doesn't even have a lightsaber.

I'm curious who got Grogu out? Jocasta Nu? Shaak Ti? Some other random character?

Setting up Thrawn and Tython will sure make the rest of the season interesting. Makes me wish the season had more episodes.

Somewhat disappointed Michael Biehn got killed off so quickly, but that seems to be his thing. He was Sean Bean before Sean Bean.

I was never an Ahsoka fan, but I think Ms. Dawson plays her well. Just don't expect her to ever get killed off in TM or really, ever anytime soon under DC since Mr. Filoni doesn't want to let his pet waifu die. I suspect Ahsoka will still be alive when the next reboot comes.

Still, yet another mark on the checkbox for EU haters to shut up about. "Boba Fett coming back is so stupid!" "Palpatine still being alive makes no sense!" DSWC is a blessing to those who snobbishly looked down upon the EU.

Also, you're forgetting Mr. Biehn survived in Aliens - right up until the sequel, which I guess proves your point, but my headcanon is that never happened. :P

Well rumor mill has been saying Ahsoka has a new animated show coming out following up on the end of Rebels for a while now. This episode was probably intended ro set that up, especially since she's hunting Thrawn.

Yeah, the Rebels sequel, I heard about that too. Was never a Rebels fan either, but if they can get a good showrunner like Mr. Favreau, I think it has a real chance, at least in context of DSWC. TM is average to above average RN, IMO, which is potentially a new start for DC, if they can capitalize on it, and Ms. Kennedy has her own baggage while Mr. Filoni is not terribly impressive as a writer or working within established lore. They need new blood to take charge and lead the way.

Personally, I'd nominate Mr. Moore of DS9 fame to the job. Mr. Lucas was gonna put in charge of SWU anyway.

Face it. EU blows. I don't know anything about it, and there's a reason why -- because it's no good.

Are you the antagonist from an after school special by any chance?

So by that logic, War and Peace must be worthless because I don't know anything about it. That's just complete nonsense, dude.

EU is a mixed bag, much like the Disney EU. There's some great stuff in both, but both have their horrible crap (Old EU had horrible books like Crystal Star, Glove of Darth Vader stuff but the new EU has unreadable dreck like Chuck Wendig's drivel and the fart wedding)

No I quite literally know nothing about it. It's part of the joke.

The most familiar I am with it has to do with Yuka posting about it in lieu of the disney sequels.

Was that a shot or just you being sardonic? Since you're far too intelligent to actually sneer off what you've never checked out personally.

Or, was that just parody of the EU haters? If so, nice job.

EDIT: So it was meant to be serious? What about the Dark Lord trilogy? Any book by Mr. Luceno, such as Cloak of Deception or Darth Plagueis? Mr. Karpyshyn made KOTOR great, and he did the same with the Darth Bane books, even if he dropped the ball with the Revan novel. There's Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest. There's the KOTOR games, of course, and the OG Battlefront. How about the Death Star novel? Or the comics. Star Wars Republic and Star Wars Empire and Star Wars Rebellion or the X-wing novels and the X-wing books. I could name many more, like the Dark Force books or games.

I find the Bantam era is the one many modern fans like to diss on the most and treat the whole EU that way, since it was still in the early growing stages of the lore. The storyline matured. Of course, TCW is also comparable to the Bantam era, with massive missteps surrounding the development of lore, and yet people overlook that, despite the fact TCW lost one to two million viewers during its run. I wonder why that is? The more familiarity you have with the EU, the more you see the claims by modern casual fans is all off the mark. And that's the irony here. Nothing invites more hardcore casual fandom than SW does.
