Still, Boimler managed to get the first Borg-Encounter done with a 60% rating (and then further increasing his score to 100%, clearly getting a better result than the Enterprise did...). That guy needs to get off that ship and especially, away from Mariner.

She actively sabotages his career and that's not just the vibe you get when watching the series (you first see undeniable signs of his hypercompetence in Season 1, Episode 3), but it's also spelled out in season 2's episode 7, where she bad-mouths Boimler to Ransom just so he's reassigned from his prestigious mission to her garbage-hauling mission.
And considering we don't hear anything bad from Boimler's transporter-clone on the Titan, I've got to assume that he slots in with Riker and co just nicely.

She doesn't have the skills or the experience that the crew of the Cerritos had so how is she going to drill them to become better, or anybody else in Starfleet for that matter? Her drills were useless because, as Charles pointed out, had they not been rigged they'd only have had to do as well as the Starfleet personnel who's previous adventures she was running them through so they'd not have improved as they weren't properly being challenged. For crying out loud she couldn't even properly identify actually dangerous situations, she was panicking because she was unable to tell that they weren't in any real danger which the entire Cerritos crew was aware of! How's she going to drill anybody to deal with dangers she's unable to identify herself? The woman was a fraud and Freeman and Mariner were justified in getting her out of Starfleet.
Oh and let's give some props to Boimler shall we? When Kirk beat the Kobayashi Maru he had to reprogram the scenario in order to do it Boimler got 100% on the rigged test without cheating. He basically outdid Captain Kirk through sheer perseverance.
