I thought about making fliers that say something like;

"The following individuals are declared Unperson by the Ministry of Truth. To speak of even to acknowledge their existence is therefore a thoughtcrime and is to be reported to the Thought Police, immediately"

And then it lists everyone who's statue has been torn down by protestors or removed by the government.

Let's be real, with how disseminated our media and knowledge is, both physically and ESPECIALLY digitally, THAT extensive of a control over EVERYTHING would take DECADES to cultivate, at least, and you'd never get ALL of it.

I was lucky, I actually read the textbook, beyond the prescribed pages the professor gave us. People are lazy and it's hard enough to get people out of their bubbles before professors started putting people in them on purpose.

Whatever narrative you endorse, we don't need statues to teach it. Teaching is done with books, documentaries, lectures, etc. It's amazing the technology we have today.
